Hello Monsters!

The team has been busy finishing development on all of your vehicle mayhem. Let's take a look at what they've been up to.

Rules Preview

Our rules team has been busily finishing up the writing and doing edits based on testing. Here is a quick look at a few of the cards:

Max-Tac Assault: The go-to problem solver of the team is the Max-Tac Assault. Armed with the Militech Dragon and an Armor 3, they are formidable against more than just Cyberpsychos!

Yaiba Kusanagi: One of the most nimble vehicles on the streets of Night City, the Yaiba can dodge Obstacles in the street better than other bikes of its class.

M-Industries Warrior Roadbike: Built to last, not to fast, the Roadbike has an "optional" sidecar that can mount a variety of weapons and gear.

Lubricated Rubber Bananas: The banana may be a rare find in Night City, but rubber 'nanas soaked in lube are pretty easy for the enterprising Bozo to find. Just be careful not to throw them in front of your own car!

In future updates, we'll discuss more of the new units. If you'd like to participate in the playtesting, head over to our Discord and join in the discussions in the CZ Public Beta channel to test any of the rules we drop and provide your feedback.

We're sure you noticed the incredible artwork on those preview cards. Our artists have been working overtime, translating all of the stunning sculpts into jaw-dropping art that we can use not only on cards but in future publications.  Here's just a small sample!

Pledge Manager and Surveys

We are in the last stages of preparing the pledge manager where you will be able to finalize your pledges. For this Kickstarter, we are running the pledge manager through Shopify and need to gather some additional information from you with the Kickstarter Survey in order to get everything ready. 

Please keep a lookout for the survey in your email inboxes and fill it out as soon as you can. We did our best to keep it brief. Your answers will help us get the pledge manager up and running as quickly as possible. Thank you!

Post Campaign Update 01 - Huge thanks to all our backers! Progress already being made.

Hi All!

We wanted to drop a quick update to thank everyone once again for their support with this project and to let you all know that progress is already being made.

We are in the process of triple-checking all of our digital files and have already started getting the masters ready for production. The AV-4 itself is going to take the most effort. We have a great-looking digital model and this has been sent off for tooling review to two different factories. Both do great work so it's about final tooling cost, time, and estimated delivery dates. The tooling of big kits is always a challenge to see how each factory wants to set up the tools and how many tools are actually going to be needed to complete the project. Every additional tool adds a lot of cost and time so keeping the tooling time and complexity to a minimum is also the main concern. We also want the assembly of the kit to be as easy as possible for everyone so taking the time to get this part done correctly is super important.

Here are a few pictures of some of the models in progress to show that things are moving along.

We normally would not zoom in so close to a 3d print but this one turned out pretty awesome. The face detail behind the goggles turned out really good. It's always the eyes that give it away!

This image is more about showing off another test of the UV Full-Color Bases we talked about. The quality of these is turning out better than expected. The graphics resolution is nice and crisp and they have passed all my "very aggressive" scratch tests. The color is staying on so well that I'm having to tear the plastic of the base to get the color off. I'm sure we will end up showing a lot of different color textures as time goes on. After playing with these, I know I'm going to be redoing all my personal models. 

As a reminder, these are the textures we plan to start with first. These look a little shiny as it's a render but the actual bases will be more matt coat finish and closer to flat.

Here is the front and back of the actual base in the upper image. These bases are completely covered with graphic texture and then I drilled from the back on this one for the foot peg holes. Works awesome. The texture is great for superglue if you want to glue something to the top of the base without drilling. Much more to come on this later.

For fun, I wanted to show off one of the bike's 3d prints. This one is a reject as there was a shift of the print during a power outage. Can you see if error? Regardless, the details on these are going to be great.
